A few words about myself

Just since my childhood I was attracted by IT-technologies: computers, programming. In later years, in university, I spent a lot of time with learning of informatics, programming languages, databases, discrete mathematics, formal logic, philosophy and technologies of artificial intelligence. Of course I’m not a mandroid, I take a great interest in music and playing the guitar, I love nature walks and bike, interested in literature and art, I love cooking and socializing, airplanes, boats and cars.

However, I chose IT as the main sphere of my professional activity. And more than 20 years my professional interests are connected with a lot of things related to information technology in the narrow and wide sense. At the first it is IT-consulting (the implementation of software) for the automation of various business processes like finance, warehouse management, supply chain management, production management, service management, human resource management and payroll calculation.

I was born in Zelenograd, it is town 25 kilometers north of Moscow. In Soviet times it was it was center of microelectronics, now it is one of Moscow suburb agglomeration, so called “sateline town”. My mom was technical editor in Scientific Research Institute of Fine Technology (later merged to Angstrem Semiconductor company). My dad is Engineer of mainframe computers ES EVM-1046, 1055, 1060, 1066 (analogous to System/370), with specialization in processors.

After high school, I studied at Khimki Technical College of Space Engineering, and graduated with a degree in Programmer-Mathematician. Then in 1997-2003 I being studied in Moscow Aviation Institute – State University of Aerospace technologies, Applied Mathematics and Physics department, Computing Mathematics and Programming subdepartment.

Already during college, I began to work. In the beginning of my career I developed custom software such as ordering and billing systems for manufacturing companies, I have been configuring accounting software, and finally after University graduation I began working as Consultant of financial systems.

My career was developing dynamically and I would say diagonally. From programmer I have transformed to consultant of accounting software, then I have moved to sales area as a Presales Consultant or a Sales Engineer, then I have returned to Consulting in new quality as a Regional Consulting Manager. The next step of my career stair was global Product Management of global ERP system.

Distancing from work, I think that family is our main and favorite what we have. I would like you to feel the warmth and support of the family as well as I do.

While attending English lessons, another topic was the work-life balance. Such a simple thing, but it became a trigger to overestimate the importance of the family, close people, home as a place where you not only sleep, but which is your mental and physical bastion and main place of the life. And that the central place of home is not the bed where you spend nights and then run on, but the whole house. Latest Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2 epidemic when the borders of the countries became closed, and people were physically isolated from the rest of the world confirmed the correctness of this position: staying in a confined space in the company of well-known people for several months made it possible to re-evaluate the importance and correctness of one’s own life values, which of them are deceptive, ephemeral and less priority, and which are real and true.

A few of words about hobbies: one of them is Artificial Intelligence, that I have been investigating for a long time. This is not the same to recent trend including mechanical and statistical methods expressed in Machine Learning and neural networks. I am committed to linguistic and conceptual models. AI is not a thing in itself, its basic ideas are close to very ordinary and everyday, applied realities – processes and objects. In particular, you can read my book and you will see for yourself.

I am currently working on several articles, as well as on a book and program model that will give us a deeper insight into the AI concept, which is close to the mechanisms of human logic of 1st, 2nd and 3rd orders.
